Though she died, they both had some dreams to uplift their own village. So, Nomal does start to fulfill all the dreams comes true like schooling facility for children at their village and communication and connectivity with other places.
The next story introduces another forest village family, father is a real drunker, daughter is a mentally challenged 13 years old girl, and mother is a hardworking woman. Mother has all the responsibilities to look after her single daughter. Both her parents do not get time to spend with her as father always does alcoholic and mother goes out for work. Sometime they even face mocking and criticize by the villagers for her child because her daughter though grows up physically but mentally she does not able to get the things as the other child of her age can get easily. It is a Tiwa film presentation from the house of ‘The Wild Lalungs’ from North-East, Assam.
According to the 1st class in Regional Government Film and Television Institute, Dewri introduced himself as belong to Tiwa community. Then the lecturer advised him to make a Tiwa film after completing his diploma in film because the Tiwa community contribution in films is nothing and nobody has taken the taste of Tiwa films at all.
As Dewri belong to the North-East region, India, where most people attracts by their cultural diversity and the beautiful greenery nature, he got inspired by his lecturers since 2011 to make a Tiwa film and started to do a field study from 2012.
As on 2013 he started to make a script in Tiwa language based on true incidents. In the year of 2014, a small unit of ‘The Wild Lalungs’ started for recce. On 12th October 2016, the first schedule of production has begun at ‘Balikhunji’ village, West Karbi-Anglong, Assam, India. However, the team has its production script, but the schedule broke its tempo as the weather takes its own place and also team has chosen the local cast. The weather is a great difficulty, nobody can say when the sun will come or the rain will begin. In such a wet and hilly place, team has taken the challenge to work and managed the continuity section too.
In 2017, team ‘The Wild Lalungs’ comes for music recording. Due to the lack of road connectivity and the communication complication, team faced to bring all the members in music department. So, team chose as wild unplug recording for background score and songs.
During the time of recording, Rinku Boro (sound engineer) and Dewri faced the rain again. However, the rain stops, the crickets and other insects started whooping.
Dijen Amsi (music director), Prilu Amsi (music arranger), their team console us very positively and finally, team has successfully recorded.
The music of the film is composed by Dijen Amsi & his team. Music arranged by Prilu Amsi, Rinku Boro & Sumir Dewri.
The background score and the songs were taken as wild unplug recording in middle of the jungle.
On 7th October 2017, ‘The Wild Lalungs’ releases its first music on the event of Tiwa Students Get Together (Malum Lawa) programme at Amulapatty Natya Mandir, Nagaon (Assam).
The first Song & first Teaser of the film is already out on YouTube.
